Now that I'm getting very proficient at taking videos with my iPad and uploading them to my blog........I've told you I love my iPad? I'm sure I have. I have to show you the ceiling of our lounge room. It's absolutely amazing. We are staying in a 2 bedroom apartment and the lounge room itself is huge there is just so much room here.
Tony and I went exploring through Florence as there is so much to see. Lisa and Rafa went off and did their own exploring too. We had a cappuccino standing up at a cafe. A bit of a novelty for us. It seems in certain cafes you buy a coffee and stand at the counter and then go....there is no relaxing and having a coffee.
We went over the Ponte Vecchio again when the jewelry shops were open...very expensive. Had a look down the street that has the designer shops like Gucci, Prada, Dior etc. There were lots of beautiful fashion! I noticed also in Paris and now Florence that there are lots of designer kids boutiques!

We found the Saint Lorenzo market and we were not intending to buy too much but I came away with a leather jacket, a handbag, t-shirt and more! So you could say we had or rather I had a successful day shopping. The leather goods are amazing and so cheap and the smell of leather is everywhere!

We went to our chocolate and wine tasting and whilst the tour guide was very informative and we ate some to-die-for chocolates and 1 glass of dessert wine we thought it was over rated and expensive. It was the first touristy thing we did.....but it's all part of the experience.

Tomorrow we are all going to the Accademia and Ufizzi Gallery!
